Edward Querfeld is the CEO and Chief Technical Officer of Robotanical. From the first time he got a hold of an erector set, Ed has had a lifelong love of building things and has had a long track record of bringing innovation to industries he has been involved with.
In his capacity at Robotanical, Ed oversees strategy, product design and business development. Additionally, he rides herd on the company’s ecosystem & related software integration.
An architect by training, Ed has used his creative perspective to successfully transition to business development and held senior management positions at Emerson Electric, MindTree Consulting and Custom Sensors & Technology. Through his in depth knowledge of automation, sensing, software integration and imaging technologies, he built a sales agency from the ground up into a multimillion-dollar company specializing in advanced imaging and measurement systems for the Mil-Aero & Semiconductor industries.
He has an engineering degree from the University of Southern California and indulges his passion for electromechanical creations with soapbox derby cars and automated brewing systems in Portland, Oregon.
Garth Morgan, Chief Innovation Officer at Robotanical, has nearly 20 years of progressive experience in product development, from design and engineering to program management and product marketing. His tenure with Fortune 500 companies such as Nike and Logitech cultivated prosperous product lines by leveraging a central role to manage product programs and multi-national, multi-functional teams.
At Robotanical, Garth is committed to product development, reality checking, test and QA/QC. He merges innovative solutions with an ability to drive the strategy, understand the details and solve problems quickly.
With a degree in art, Garth went on to study product design and engineering at Stanford University. When Garth isn’t making great products, he can be found with his family or turning a wrench on vintage motorcars for fun.
